Car Rental Collection Details

Come out of the baggage reclaim area, proceed to our desk in car hire area in Cork airport arrivals hall. On collecting your car, please have your reference number (see below) and your DRIVERS LICENCE (issued in your country of residence) and your CREDIT CARD (for security imprint). You will complete and sign a rental contract. Maps and touring assistance will be provided. Car controls will be demonstrated. Car return instructions will be provided.

Cork Airport General Information

Cork Airport is situated 10 minutes outside of Cork city, a short 5-mile drive along the Kinsale road. It serves as a direct link to the beautiful and diverse landscape of southern Ireland. Connections to mainland Europe, the UK and domestic flights to Dublin are available. Chartered flights serve destinations in the Mediterranean and northern Africa, whilst scheduled transatlantic flights are also available. There is just one terminal in the airport, with check-ins located on the ground floor of the terminal.

Getting To & From Cork Airport

The airport will handle over 2.1 million passengers. You can get to and from Cork Airport from virtually any point throughout Ireland with Bus Eireann. IRISH RAIL frequent InterCity Train Service to and from CORK has a regular bus connection from its Railway Station to Cork Airport. Connections are available to and from intermediate stations. 

There is a taxi rank located just outside the main terminal. The cost is approximately €10 from the airport to the city centre and takes about 15 minutes. Taxi's Peak Times are 8.30 - 10 am and 4.30 - 6pm.

The Airport Information Desk and the Cork Tourism information and reservation centre are both located on the Arrivals concourse.
